A £400MILLION battle is brewing for one of Britain’s biggest pub companies. Shares in the 3,300-strong Punch Taverns group soared 48½p to 177p after it confirmed it had received two approaches pitching one of its founders, Alan McIntosh, against Dutch giant Heineken.
